The workshops in Martyno Jankaus museum

3 – 7. 07. 2017in the museum of Martynas Jankus, members of Vilnius bookbinders guild, Aušra Lazauskienė and Rūta Taukinaitytė-Narbutienė conducted theory and practical instructions on marbling and bookbinding. Attendees were taught marbling history, presented ten classic marbling patterns, and using this paper binded two different types of hardcover books. To conclude the trainings, we held an exhibition of works, which lasted a whole month. We are grateful to the organizers for a warm welcome, attendees for their curiosity, thoroughness and great works. Until next time!
